Backhaul

For network operators and WISP’s offering WiMAX or other wireless last mile solutions the challenge remains to ensure seamless backhaul of the traffic in order to meet agreed service level agreements, provide the required high capacity, and maintain a low cost per connection. Depending on the environment, distance, network layout and growth prospects ConvergEX Technologies works with a number of key manufacturers that specialize in backhaul to provide a tailor made solution that meets our core objective of maximising coverage and capacity, whilst minimising the cost for our customers.

Our solutions can operate in the standard ETSI ISM band, 3,5 GHz, 5GHz, 10 GHz or 26 GHz bands. We can achieve up to 200 MBP/s backhaul connectivity on a point to point, or point to multi-point star configuration with distances up to 150 KM.   The solution supports multiple service and traffic types with supported interfaces including Ethernet and E1. Our backhaul networks are designed to offer extremely low latency, ideal for critical voice and mission critical applications.
